To the SouthEast lies the Brandon/Fishhawk/Riverview area. This area has a great mix of new and older homes. The largest and most well-known master planned community is FishHawk Ranch which is surrounded by many smaller communities. Carefully developed on 3,000 acres, this community will contain nearly 5,000 residences at completion. Residents enjoy amenities that include two swimming and tennis facilities, a children's water park, a fitness center, a theater with stadium seating, two community club houses, sand volleyball, lighted roller-hockey and basketball courts, a lighted soccer and softball field, equipped playgrounds, parks, picnic areas, and nearly 20 miles of jogging and biking trails. Nearly 2,000 acres of Hillsborough County preserves border the community. FishHawk Ranch also features on-site daycare and A-rated public schools, including Bevis Elementary, the number one elementary school in the county, and Randall Middle School. Newsome High, a new high school, opened in the Fall 2003. A town square will soon feature a reception hall, quaint retail shops, and a performance area and lawn, as well as an interactive fountain.
While not a comprehensive listing of each subdivision in the Tampa Bay area, the areas above make up the major delineations in suburban neighborhoods surrounding the downtown Tampa area. Additionally, although our office is located in Hillsborough County, we also have knowledge of Pinellas County property and communities as well.
