If you start looking earlier, it is likely the home you fall in love with will be sold by the time you are ready to submit an offer. If you have a home to sell, it is always better to have a contract in hand when submitting an offer on a home here in Florida - that way you and the seller are comfortable the sale will go forward to closing.
